UPDATE Monday 6/8/09:

Thanks for all the comments with helpful tips and questions they are well worth reading but I will summarize the tips and answer questions here:

• Red Plum ad fine print states you may use up to 75 coupons / Kmart ad states 10 - as of Sunday stores were all over the place on what they would take. It will help to have the Red Plum ad to argue your case. Be prepared to be flexible in your planning.
• $5 off $50 coupon w/ doubles seems to be successful in most cases BUT can not be combined with the Catalina coupon deal so  the best strategy is to used it on your first transaction to lower the oop to get a Cat and then use the Cat if you care getting either the $7 or $14 version.
• The Unilever/ Kimberly Clark / SC Johnson Catalina does print when you use coupons / double coupons and can be "rolled" into a second transaction to produce another Catalina- this mean major stock up potential and great buys on expensive items like Scott towels, Huggies diapers, Cottonelle tissue etc.
• The AXE movie ticket promotion worked for me but last day is apparently Tuesday 6/8 - no dates on store signage. The Axe will continue to be part of the overall deal above thru 7/13.
• How double appear on your receipt - Scanned coupon - amount ie $1 - Multi coupon - amount which can vary. For example I purchased a $1.49 J & J swabs and used the $1 coupon so the first line is $1 second line is .49 cents. Your coupons will double only to the amount of the item.
• $1 off 2 coupons - I purchased two Glade sprays at .99 cents with a $1 coupon first line reads scanned coupon $1 second line multi coupon .98 cents so I got both for free.
• Coupon values will double to a maximum of $4 so if you have a $3 coupon it will only go up to $4 not $6.

Most Kmart Stores will be doubling coupons up to $2 = $4 off the week of 6/7 - 6/13. The new 10 coupon limit means it will be more difficult to do major stock ups one method is to bring the whole family fill each cart with 10 items hand them the coupons and cash and each check out. There are a few deals here that are valid ONLY through Monday 6/8 and since many of the Free items are cleared out on the first day I am posting now so you can start pulling together your coupons. I will be adding additonal hot buys.

Limit 10 coupons per customer per day - down from 25 previously coupon will double only up to the item price. See your local ad HERE - you will see a big red box in the bottom right hand corner with $2 double coupon if your store is participating but I am also reading on a board that it is not being advertised in all markets so I would suggest calling your local store directly.

- reports from readers are about 50 / 50 on success for using this coupon in conjunction with doubled manufacturer coupons but it's worth a try - hand it to the cashier first.

With the limit of only 10 coupons per transaction you will require a fairly high out of pocket expense for this BUT once you get the first $14 Catalina you can roll it into the second transaction allowing you to buy more expensive items like big packs of paper towels, toilet paper, diapers etc.

This was my first time couponing successfully and it was soooo excitng Thank you all for your tips.

Note: I just got back from the Super K in Torrance, CA and they are very adamant about the "10 coupon" rule. Also, they didn't have a lot on stock, but I still scored. Yaaahhh!!!! Oh and before I forget, a lot of their items are 30% off once you get to the register, so I'll be going back tomorrow. Just look for the yellow 30% off signs.

Kmart employees would not allow me to buy 3 Axe shampoos and use 3 Axe coupons, said their policy is only 1 coupon per kind. I have never heard that but after 25 minutes of waiting for a manager I gave up! So I couldn't get the movie deal. Also, would not allow over 10 coupons.

No, unfortunately the registers at Kmart will not accept both the Catalina and the $5 off it's simply how they are programmed. The 6/8 deals ending today are from the May monthly book and it's the Kellog's movie deal not the AXE one.

My local Super K doesn't start their doubling until Wednesdays. I don't know why they do this, but they never start until Wed, but they they run through the following Wed. So this could be the case with some other Kmarts. I have also found that when I call, the customer service people have no idea about the doublers. I've learned to just ask for the store manager and they usually know when they are starting.

Also, our Super K (NW Indiana) has never done anything additional with a coupon over $2. For example if the coupon is for $3 off, that's all we get...no additional monies off. Wish I lived where some of you do!!! Anyone have a copy of a coupon policy, etc. that states they should be doing this? I'd love if you would post it here. Thanks

Okay, I went to Kmart tonight(locals it was Citrus Heights) along with my 3 sisters. We had no problem using the coupons, and we had way more than ten. The cashier did ask the manager (after we showed the ad saying 75)and he ok'd it. One tip, we used the $5 off Kmart coupon on the first transaction, but the register would not allow it on the following transactions because we were using our $14 catalinas that we had earned. So, I figure $14 is much better than $5. Other than that no problems! It is so nice when a transaction actually works right! Going back for more tomorrow!

Wondering if anyone elses stores do anything with a $3.00 coupon, my store USED TO manually take off the $2.00 so you actually save $5.00, they would give an additional $2.00 off of any coupon that was higher than the $2.00, ALSO wondering if anyone has had any luck using coupons that state "when you buy TWO" My store refuses to honor them, because sometimes the register will take them, and sometimes it won't, so, now if the coupon is say save $2.00 off TWO shampoos, (which say are $3.00 each) the register will ONLY double to the price of the first item, even though its actually off two items, I gave up argueing, because they don't seem to get it. Anyone else have this problem??!!??

You can use the coupon it will simply credit the amount of the item = FREE but not double up to $4 to give you overage. This is the case with all coupons where the doubled value will exceed the item price.

I just got an email back from kmart stating that they would use the $2.00=$4.00 as long as it didn't exceed the amount of the product. Has any one heard of this? I was going to get the Aveeno lotion $3.15 use $2.00 = free but if it's doubled it is exceeding the amount of the product. Am I just looking into this to much.

Hi laina, You get the caregivers rebate too- you can submit the Windex rebate if you haven't already but you'd need a duplicate receipt to do caregivers and windex

Ok, so I e-mailed Kmart to complain and they sent me an e-mail back with a list of stores that are not participating...and out stores are not on the list.
